REP. ANDREWS ATTENDS SENATOR MENENDEZ’S SWEARING IN
On January 18, 2005 I stood with my colleagues on the Senate floor to acknowledge Congressman Bob Menendez’s inauguration as New Jersey’s new U.S. Senator. I look forward to working with Senior Senator Frank Lautenberg and our new Junior Senator Menendez to continue helping the residents of South Jersey.
More than ever our government must be unified in facing the difficult challenges before our Nation. Terror and nuclear proliferation threatens global security and I will work with our Senators to make the world safer for our children. We must protect Social Security and fix Medicare and Medicaid for our seniors, disabled, and sick.
In South Jersey we will work together to improve traffic flow, strengthen the economic growth in our region, and bring adequate funding back to our first responders. Through continued cooperation, I will build on my longstanding relationships with Senators Lautenberg and Menendez to better our Nation, State, and region.
