REP. ANDREWS NOMINATES SIXTEEN TO THE NATION'S MILITARY SERVICE ACADEMIES
On Monday, March 22, 2006, at Camden County College, I was honored to nominate sixteen outstanding young men and women to the Nation's military service academies. The courage and dedication to service exemplified by these young people is unmatched. These individuals have excelled in every facet of their academic, athletic and community responsibilities and have earned the right to this prestigious designation. As a result, they will go on to represent the First Congressional District and their country with pride and excellence.
The nation's military academies are an integral facet of the strength of our military by serving as an incubator for the future commanders of each branch of the Armed Forces. For generations, these institutions have produced the brightest and best military leaders in the world. Today, the graduates of these institutions are leading the way for our forces fighting the war against terror. Our success in the effort to defend freedom and democracy throughout the world is directly attributable to the dedication and expertise of men and women similar to these young people being nominated today.
I wish these students luck in their future endeavors. I am proud of each of them and I am confident that they will be very successful. The following individuals have been nominated to the military service academies to represent the First Congressional District:
