What:  Missouri River Forum

When:  December 13, 2003 from 9:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.

Where:  Iowa Western Community College – Looft Hall

Council Bluffs, Iowa

 King will discuss how the Missouri River can be managed in a way that protects wildlife while also promoting the economy of the Midwest and the Plains states.   Topics will include a comprehensive plan of habitat restoration balanced with protection of authorized activities on the river including flood control, agricultural irrigation, navigation, recreation, fish and wildlife, water supply, water quality, and hydropower.
