The MEDC Alternative Energy Showcase will feature ten of the most innovative alternative energy component suppliers displaying the latest battery and related technologies. Stop planned for the U.S. Army Tank Automotive Research, Development and Engineering Center (TARDEC), the nation's research lab for military energy initiative.
- 3:30 p.m. Tour of EcoXperience Electric Avenue
The exhibit will feature an indoor ride-and-drive test drive track for advanced technology vehicles.

- Attended opening session of House Democratic Caucus Issues Conference and Jobs Summit with keynote address by Google CEO Eric Schmidt.
