| Washington, DC – Congressman Bill Shuster announced today funding for the Homer City School District’s athletic facility and running track. The funding was secured by Shuster in the Housing and Urban Development Appropriations Bill.
“This is important funding that will improve the school’s infrastructure,” said Shuster. “The athletic facility will benefit the entire school and will go a long way in promoting the area’s programs across the region.”
Homer City School District will receive $50,000 to fund the completion of a new running track and an athletic facility.
“Having a new running track will not only advance the school’s program but it also could spur new interest among students,” said Shuster. “And by working with officials in the area we were able to secure funding for projects that Homer City School District needs.
