Langevin Talks Cybersecurity on CSPAN's The Communicators

Warwick, RI - Congressman Jim Langevin (D-RI) will appear on C-SPAN’s “The Communicators” tomorrow, Saturday, May 16, to talk about cybersecurity. “The Communicators” is a new weekly series featuring interviews about various digital issues.

“Cybersecurity is among the most serious economic and national security challenges we will face in the 21st century, and our nation must respond vigorously to threats against our cyber infrastructure,” said Langevin, co-founder and co-chair of the House Cybersecurity Caucus. “By participating in this program, I was able to once again call for the development of a comprehensive strategy to secure our nation’s computer networks and critical infrastructure.”

Langevin’s 15 minute interview covered a variety of cyber topics, including the need for a National Office for Cyberspace within the White House.
