FATTAH URGES CALM FOR CITY TEACHERS
PHILADELPHIA, PA -- With reports of a massive teacher exodus
and confusing decisions by the Governor and the School Reform Commission,
Congressman Chaka Fattah (D-PA) today asked for city teachers to remain
calm and not to leave our schools.
“Nothing is more important for a child’s education that a good, qualified
teacher,” said Congressman Fattah. “I am urging Philadelphia school
teachers and administrators not to give up. Our children need you.”
