Washington, D.C. - U.S. Congressman Kevin Brady (R-The Woodlands) issued the following statement today following confirmation that Saddam Hussein's two sons, Uday and Qusai, were killed in a U.S.-led firefight in Mosul, Iraq:

 

"Today, thanks to the brave men and women in the U.S. armed services, two of Iraqi's cruelest war criminals and terrorist sympathizer are no longer a threat to the security of Iraq or the United States."  

 

"The U.S. armed forces and intelligence agencies executed a strategic operation successfully advancing the War on Terror and rebuilding process in Iraq."
         
"The Iraqi people are free of two of their oppressors.  Terrorists and their sympathizers should take note, America will not rest until every threat is eliminated."
