Houston, TX- U.S. Congressman Kevin Brady issued the following statement on the passing of President Ronald Reagan.

"Heaven is a little sunnier and little more optimistic today as our nation mourns the passing of one of the greatest American patriots and Presidents of the 20th Century, President Ronald Reagan. 

"President Reagan's message of hope restored America's faith in what we could become. His stewardship ushered in an era of peace and economic prosperity.  His leadership ended the Cold War, brought down the Berlin Wall, and charted a new course for America's future. 

 "President Reagan's legacy will live on in the hearts and memories of all Americans. His integrity, dignity and wisdom are immortal and will challenge us each day to 'act worthy of ourselves' worthy of America."
