Brady Launches 8th District Mobile Office

Touring 11 Communities Throughout East & Southeast Texas; April 17-20 - Check Listings for a Stop Near You

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Congressman Kevin Brady today announced the schedule for a mobile office inaugural tour of Texas' Eighth District. It will take place Monday, April 17 through Thursday, April 20.

The five-term congressman will be bringing the RV and his congressional caseworkers to 11 communities throughout the district to meet with area constituents and kick-off the new Eighth District Mobile Office. This kick-off "whistle stop" tour of the mobile district office will afford constituents a chance to catch up with Congressman Brady and put faces and names with the staff and caseworkers who will handle their specific casework.

"The best service is convenient service. I want to make sure my staff and I are available to help people with their problems wherever they live," said Brady, a five-term member of Congress.

Following the introductory tour, the 8th District Mobile Office will become a permanent fixture in the district, helping people with government problems, such as Social Security, Medicare, veterans, IRS, immigration and FEMA issues.

Brady earlier established permanent regional offices in Orange, Huntsville and Conroe

"For this first week, as we introduce the mobile office to our district, we invite residents and community leaders to stop by the RV and say hello," said Heather Montgomery, district director for Congressman Brady.

A complete schedule of the tour is attached.  For additional information about the mobile office tour, please contact the Conroe District Office toll free at 1-877-441-5700.
