Conroe, TX - Congressman Kevin Brady (R-TX) made the following comments on the distribution of Presidential Inauguration tickets:
“Our office received far more requests for tickets to this historic event than were available. So at my request, a nurse at the local Veterans Affairs Clinic pulled dozens of names out of a jar on Monday,” said Congressman Kevin Brady.
Each name selected out of the jar will receive two tickets to the January 20th Inauguration of President-Elect Barack Obama. Our office is now notifying the lottery winners personally.
“Since a lottery was the fairest way to distribute these priceless tickets to the residents of District 8, I am grateful Vonzella Hill graciously agreed to participate,” added Brady.

A ticket to the inauguration is not required for someone coming to our nation’s capitol to celebrate this historic occasion. There are numerous events to participate in during the Inaugural.
