WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Joint Economic Committee Chairman (JEC) Jim Saxton (R-N.J.) announced today that Brian Fairchild, former staff operations officer in the Central Intelligence Agency's (CIA) Directorate of Operations, will testify at a JEC hearing on May 20, 1998. As a former GS-13 Staff Operations Officer, Fairchild will provide detailed analysis of the current state of intelligence and insights into Communist China.
The JEC hearing is scheduled for 10 a.m., Wednesday, May 20, 1998, in Room 106 Dirksen Senate Office Building. Fairchild also is a former member of the Army's elite special force, the Green Berets. He will be available for questions by the media after his testimony.
Fairchild currently owns a domestic and international investigations company, Brian P. Fairchild and Associates. He maintains his U.S. Government Secret Clearance.
