Bishop Airport will improve its flight information system with a $289,750 federal grant.

The new flight information display system will provide travelers with accurate arrival and departure information, according to a news release from Rep. Dale E. Kildee, D-Flint, who announced the grant.

The system will be Web-based to provide travelers with real-time information throughout the terminal.

"This grant will allow Bishop Airport to continue its growth and modernization, while maintaining the integrity and competitive edge of the airport," Kildee said in the news release.
