| U.S. Rep. Dale E. Kildee has signed on to support the Bioterrorism Protection Act of 2001.
The $7-billion effort developed by the House Democratic Homeland Security Task Force would provide funding to improve the public health system, interaction between state and federal organizations, investigative powers and medical training. It also would ensure an adequate supply of vaccines and treatments will be available for Americans, Kildee said.
