Congressman Andrews to attend President Obama’s open bipartisan health care summit
Washington, DC – Earlier this evening, Congressman Rob Andrews was invited to join Congressional leaders from both parties to participate in President Obama’s health insurance reform meeting scheduled for this Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Blair House. During the six-hour session, President Obama is expected to put forth his proposal for fixing our nation’s flawed health care system – a plan that incorporates and builds on many of the ideas considered by Congress over the past year. The bipartisan meeting is designed to provide an open forum to discuss the best Republican and Democratic ideas for making our health care system more affordable and accessible for all Americans.
