OTREC is dedicated to encouraging and conducting collaborative multi-disciplinary research on multi-modal surface transportation issues, educating a diverse array of current practitioners and future leaders in the transportation field, and facilitating implementation of relevant research results. OTREC programs strive to address the transportation needs of Oregon, the Northwest, and the nation, while contributing to USDOT's strategic objectives including safety, mobility, global connectivity, environmental stewardship, security, and congestion. Strong collaboration and partnerships with transportation agencies, industry, and other universities in the Northwest is a cornerstone of OTREC activities.
