| (Washington, D.C.) U.S. Representative Mike Ross (AR-04) today announced that he has hired Hope native Paige Burkham to fill the role of Staff Assistant.
“As the U.S. Representative of Arkansas’ Fourth Congressional District, I am always proud to hire talented district residents as members of my office team,” Ross said. “Paige will be a great asset to our office, and most importantly, to the people of Arkansas’s Fourth Congressional District.”
Paige Burkham, a Spring Hill High School graduate, attended Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia where she received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Psychology. While in college, she was a member of the President’s Ambassadors at SAU.
Burkham participated in Ross’ summer internship in 2005 and has since been the Admissions Counselor and Scholarship Coordinator at SAU.
As Ross’ Staff Assistant, some of Burkham’s new responsibilities will include giving Capitol tours and working with constituents visiting Washington, as well as managing constituent mail.
Burkham is the daughter of Wesley and Glenda Burkham of Hope and the granddaughter of Bob and Lena Massingill also of Hope.
