(Washington, D.C.) U.S. Representative Mike Ross (AR-04) today announced that he has hired Lewisville native T.J. Lee to fill the role of Director of Grants and Special Projects in his Washington, D.C., office.
“As the U.S. Representative of Arkansas’ Fourth Congressional District, I am always proud to hire talented district residents as members of my office team,” Ross said. “I am proud of T.J. and I know he will be a great asset to our legislative staff, our entire office and most importantly to the people of Arkansas’s Fourth Congressional District.”
T.J. Lee, a Lewisville Hill High School graduate, recently graduated from Southern Arkansas University in Magnolia where he received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in Political Science. While in college, he served as President of the Student Government Association, Vice President of the President’s Ambassadors and Secretary of Phi Lambda Chi Fraternity. Lee also served on SAU’s Commencement Committee, Discipline Committee and Student Affairs Committee.
Lee also previously served as council member on the Lewisville City Council.
As Ross’ Director of Grants and Special Projects, some of Lee’s new responsibilities will include working with constituents on grants, legislative issues and serving as the administrator for all of Ross’ office computing systems.
Lee is the son of Pat and Cindy Smith of Texarkana, Texas, and Travis Lee of Lewisville and the grandson of Betty Caskey of Lewisville.
