| (Washington, D.C.) U.S. Representative Mike Ross (AR-04) has successfully restored $456,000 cut by the President in his budget for important biofuels research conducted at the University of Arkansas at Monticello’s (UAM) Forestry Research Center. Late Thursday, the House debated and later passed the Fiscal Year 2008 House Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriation Bill.
