April 6, 2006—Today, the American Conservative Union (ACU) released its 35th edition of “Rating of Congress” results and Congressman Trent Franks (AZ-02) was one of only 38 House members to receive a “best of the best” rating for 2005.
The ACU created the scoring method based on economics and budget, social and cultural issues, and defense and foreign policy. It is intended to provide the public an analytical view of where their representatives rate ideologically.
