Franks Statement on Passing of
Kerry Martin
 
 
 

May 26, 2009 - Congressman Trent Franks (AZ-02) today gave the following statement upon hearing of the passing of Kerry Martin, wife of Arizona Treasurer Dean Martin, due to childbirth complications.

"I have long considered both Dean and Kerry as precious friends.  Our hearts are broken over Dean's unfathomable loss.  May he and his family be comforted by the peace of God and may their hearts be touched with His love as only He can.  We will continue to hold them all, including Dean and Kerry's precious little one, closely in our thoughts and prayers."

Congressman Franks is serving his fourth term in the U.S. House of Representatives, and is a member of the Committee on Armed Services, Strategic Forces Subcommittee, Oversight & Investigations Subcommittee, Military Readiness Subcommittee, Committee on the Judiciary, Constitution Subcommittee, and is Ranking Member on the Subcommittee on Commercial and Administrative Law.
