                        Congressman Cardoza will give testimony at the special session.

Noon               Merced One Voice Kickoff Lunch Meeting
Cardoza will deliver keynote speech - update on work in Washington and hot button issues.

                        Cardoza will give brief remarks at the ribbon cutting ceremony.

Main focus of tour is to draw attention to Center and highlight the importance of science education. Dr. Lee Andersen, Superintendent, Merced County Schools will lead one hour tour.

2:00 pm          Roundtable with Hispanic Leadership Council Board Members   
                        Discussion to focus on issues affecting the Hispanic community.

Cardoza will tour almond orchard and answer questions about CCD (the unexplained disappearance of honey bees critical to agricultural pollination).
