| WASHINGTON – Today, following the passing of Chairman Tom Lantos, Congressman Dennis Cardoza issued this statement:
“I am deeply saddened by the passing of my colleague Congressman Tom Lantos. Congressman Lantos, a holocaust survivor, was the most courageous fighter for liberty and justice that I ever met. In our years serving together we became great friends and I will deeply miss his leadership and counsel.”
