Congresswoman Brown and House Veterans’ Affairs Committee to Hold Two Florida Field Hearings |

(Washington, DC) - Congresswoman Corrine Brown, along with House Veterans’ Affairs Committee Chairman Bob Filner (D-CA), will hold two field hearings, one in Orlando and the other in Jacksonville, to discuss the “Building of Critical Health Infrastructure for Veterans.” Congresswoman Brown, Chairman Filner and other members of the U.S. House of Representatives will attend the hearings in Jacksonville on Monday, April 20, at Noon Eastern Time and in Orlando on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at 9:30 a.m. Eastern Time. “During this time of tight budget constraints and veterans returning from difficult posts overseas, I intend to do everything within my purview as a Member of the House Veterans Affairs Committee to ensure that Florida veterans’ health care needs are being taken care of,” said Congresswoman Brown.
