Miami, Florida --- Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, senior member of the Florida Congressional Delegation, will join the Jewish Community Service of South Florida’s (JCS) Milk and Honey campaign that delivers food boxes to Jewish and non Jewish elderly individuals throughout the County.  Ros-Lehtinen will be joined by other elected officials as well as by her Community Liaison, Harriet Carter, in personally delivering the food boxes to needy recipients.

Over 400 volunteers will gather together to help in the distribution of the holiday food baskets and make the visits to homebound seniors.

WHO:             Congresswoman Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, other local elected officials, members of the Jewish Community Service, Harriet Carter, Ros-Lehtinen’s Community Liaison; and caring individuals from throughout the South Florida area.

WHEN:          Sunday, September 9^th at 10:00 A.M. and afterwards the participants will head out to distribute the food boxes at 10:45 A.M.  

WHERE:       Greater Miami Jewish Federation, located at 4200 Biscayne Boulevard, Miami.
