Rep. Johnson’s Mobile Office Hours Begin in Southeastern Illinois
Congressional services offered in Eldorado and Lawrenceville every week
 
Champaign, IL…After establishing a permanent congressional office in Mt. Carmel, IL, U.S. Rep. Tim Johnson (IL-15) is expanding his representation around his six, southern-most counties.  Beginning April 1, 2003, Rep. Johnson’s Mobile Office Hours program will make regular visits to several communities in Southeastern Illinois including weekly stops in Eldorado and Lawrenceville.  District Aide Craig Snow will visit Lawrence, White, Edwards, Gallatin and Saline Counties in addition to maintaining a permanent office in Wabash County (1001 N. Market St., Mt. Carmel, IL).  Mr. Snow will handle problems from constituents who visit any of his mobile office sites on a walk-in basis or by appointment.  One can call Mr. Snow in advance at (618) 262-8719.  

Among the common problems people have that require congressional intervention are; issues with the Internal Revenue Service, Veterans Administration, Department of Agriculture, Department of Education, Social Security Administration, and dozens of other federal agencies.  Rep. Johnson urges constituents to visit his mobile office during April at any of the following locations:

April 1  1-3pm  Eldorado City Hall (Also, April 8, 15, 22, 29)
April 3  1-3pm  Lawrenceville Library (Also, April 10, 17, 24)
April 8  3:30-4pm New Haven Village Hall
April 15 11:30-12pm Crossvile Village Hall
April 17 3:30-4pm St. Francisville Fire Department
April 22 11:30-12pm Grayville City Hall
