WASHINGTON – Congressman Dale Kildee (D-MI) was pleased to announce today that Greg Dietrich of Saginaw is an intern in his Washington, D.C. office this summer.
“I am so glad to have a bright, talented student like Greg working in my office,” Congressman Kildee said. “I hope his internship in Washington, D.C. will be a valuable learning experience.”
In 1999, Greg graduated from Valley Lutheran High School. In March of 2007, he received his associate’s degree from Delta College. Currently, Greg is a junior at Saginaw Valley State University where he is majoring in political science.
Greg has been active in the Saginaw community since his honorable discharge from the U.S. Air Force where he severed as a crew chief on the F-16 Fighting Falcon from 2000-2004. Currently, he serves as the vice chair of the Buena Vista Township Citizens District Council, which works to rehabilitate the community’s downtown area.
“Working for Congressman Kildee will be an excellent way to learn about public service firsthand,” Greg said. “I hope I can serve the 5th district well and come back with some valuable experience.”
