Kildee Launches New Website

Washington, D.C.-Congressman Dale E. Kildee (D-MI) launched his new and improved congressional website today.  The website was recently redesigned to make information and assistance more accessible to his constituents.  The new format enables constituents to retrieve information more easily and to interact directly with Kildee’s office. Constituents from the 5th District of Michigan can access Congressman Kildee’s website at the following address: www.house.gov/kildee/

“I hope that my constituents will use my new website as a useful reference and tool to access information.  The website was specifically redesigned to provide my constituents with a more user-friendly resource,” said Kildee.  “The new website also gives me a better opportunity to communicate with my constituents more frequently and to provide them with immediate access to the services that are available through my office.”

The new website will be updated frequently to reflect changes in legislation and to provide constituents with the latest information and services available.  The website features several new and improved functions that will allow constituents to retrieve information, request assistance and express their concerns.

New & Improved Functions Include:

· Grants and Federal Domestic Assistance Link provides guidance to constituents

   requesting federal assistance.

· Tours and Flag Request Link provides constituents with an opportunity to request

tours of Washington, D.C. or secure an American flag flown over the U.S. Capitol.

· Newsroom Section allows constituents to access the latest press releases and news

articles.  The audio & video link allows constituents to monitor the activities of

Congress by watching live committee hearings and live c-span coverage.

· Kid’s Zone & Educational Links provides younger constituents with access to

educational government links that are geared toward a younger audience.
