Schedule Change for Congressman Kildee’s Telephone Town Hall Due to President’s Address on Health Care
Discussion Rescheduled for Monday, September 21 at 8:30 p.m.

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Due to President Barack Obama’s address on health care before a joint session of Congress on September 9, Congressman Dale E. Kildee (D-MI) announced today that his telephone town hall has been rescheduled for September 21 at 8:30 p.m.

“The President has announced that he will speak to Congress on the evening of September 9 regarding health care reform in our country. In order to give my constituents an opportunity to listen to the President and ask me questions about his address, I have postponed my telephone town hall until September 21 at 8:30 p.m. This will allow area residents to hear the President’s latest proposals so they can be discussed during the telephone town hall.”

For residents who have already submitted their information, no additional action is required. They will receive an invitation to join the discussion on the night of September 21 beginning at 8:30 p.m.

All residents of Michigan’s 5th Congressional District are welcome to join the call. Interested residents should visit Congressman Kildee’s website at www.house.gov/kildee  or call his office at 1-800-662-2685 to submit their phone number to receive more information on joining the town hall.

Thousands of people will be able to participate and the Congressman will take as many questions as time allows. A full recording will be available on the Congressman’s website after the town hall.
