Washington, D.C. - On Friday, January 23, U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre will be in Brunswick County to continue his Economic Development Listening and Action tour for Southeastern North Carolina. McIntyre will be meeting with business people, community leaders, and elected officials to discuss the economy and talk about ways to help citizens and communities secure economic opportunities for all. This is the fifth in a series of events that Congressman McIntyre will have all over Southeastern North Carolina to hear first-hand about concerns and specific ideas from local leaders to help re-ignite the economy. McIntyre’s schedule for the 23th in Brunswick County includes: 12:00-12:45 p.m. – Lunch and visit with local business owners at Lockwood Folly Marketplace, 38 Stone Chimney Road, Supply 1:00-2:30 p.m. – Economic roundtable discussion at Brunswick Community College, US 17, with local business leaders, elected officials, and community leaders |
