McIntyre Announces $550,000 for Fayetteville Regional Airport

Washington, D.C. - U.S. Representative Mike McIntyre announced today that Fayetteville Regional Airport has received $549,338 in federal funds for infrastructure improvements.

Congressman McIntyre stated, “This is a big day for the Fayetteville Regional Airport!  These federal funds will help keep the airport safe and secure. Congratulations to Director Bradley Whited and all the fine folks at the airport for their work in securing these funds!”

The U.S. Congress has appropriated and the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration has awarded FAY $549,338 in federal funds to renovate the Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Facility.  The facility is over 30 years old and is in need of improvements.
