MYRICK ANNOUNCES $50,000 EDA GRANT FOR
THE GASTON GARDEN PARKWAY

(Washington, D.C.) – U.S. Representative Sue Myrick (NC-9) today announced that the Economic Development Administration, a branch of the US Department of Commerce, has awarded Gaston County a $50,000 grant.  The grant will be used to develop a plan to maximize economic development along the Garden Parkway in Gaston County.

 “This grant is another step in helping make the Garden Parkway an economic success in Gaston County.  We have more work to do, but this is another step in the right direction,” said Myrick.
