Rep. Towns to Be Ceremonially Sworn-In
 

BROOKLYN – Rep. Edolphus “Ed” Towns (NY-10) will host a ceremonial swearing-in on Sunday, Jan. 18, 2009 at the Brooklyn Sports Club in Starrett City.  The event is open to the public. Rep. Towns will be joined by several elected officials, who will extend remarks to commemorate Towns 13th term as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives, where he was just recently installed as chair of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform. Assemblyman Darryl C. Towns (54 A.D.) will provide the opening remarks, and Senior Judge Sterling Johnson, Jr. of the United States District Court Eastern District of New York will officiate the ceremony.
