WASHINGTON - U.S. Representative Edolphus "Ed" Towns (NY-10) issued the following statement in response to the devastating 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck 10 miles outside Haiti's capital city, Port-au-Prince earlier today.

"My thoughts and prayers go out to the families and loved ones affected by the devastating earthquake in Haiti," said CongressmanTowns.  “I will continue to monitor the situation in Haiti and work with my colleagues to assist with the rescue and recovery efforts.”
