REP. TOWNS AND YMCA HONORS WOMEN LEADERS
Presents Congressional Records for lifetime achievements during Women’s History Month
 

BROOKLYN, New York – U.S. Representative Edolphus “Ed” Towns (NY-10) and the Bedford Stuyvesant YMCA announced today that a celebratory breakfast commemorating Women’s History Month will be held on Monday, March 23rd, recognizing the contributions made by women, who have made an indelible mark in their chosen fields:  human service, religion, education, journalism, advocacy, law, and government. Each honoree will be presented with a Congressional Record, an official record of the proceedings and debates of the United States Congress.  Nearly one-hundred fifty people are expected to attend.
