| Washington, DC -- {U.S. Representative Yvette D. Clarke will host a veterans’ townhall on Monday, June 2, 2008, at Old First Reformed Church, 729 Carroll Street, Brooklyn beginning at 6:30pm. The townhall will include guest speakers from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs and Black Veterans for Social Justice.
“A townhall that addresses the needs of veterans is critical for our communities,” stated Rep. Clarke. “I look forward to providing a platform to discuss the issues that matter most to veterans. I am committed to providing resources to support these brave women and men as they return to their families and friends after serving our country.”
