Washington, DC – The supplies at a local food bank have gotten a boost, thanks to Congressman Bill Shuster. Congressman Shuster recently donated more than 150 lbs in different cuts of processed pork to the Indiana County Community Action project in Indiana. The meat is from a hog Shuster purchased at the Indiana County fair in August.
"I was at the fair and thought this was a good way to support the fair, support a local farmer and help out a worthy cause in Indiana County," said Shuster. "Hopefully, my contribution will make a difference for families in need, and for the staff at the food bank who do such a tremendous job helping their clients.” |
