Morrison’s Cove To Receive Federal Grant Secured By Shuster

Washington, DC – Congressman Bill Shuster announced today a grant for Morrison’s Cove Memorial Park Recreation Center in Blair County.  The funding will be used to help renovate the park and recreation center.

“Our parks are one of our most valuable resources because they are convenient and affordable,” said Congressman Shuster.  “The entire community will benefit from these upgrades as they continue to enjoy the area.”

Morrison’s Cove Memorial Park will receive $70,000 of funding to assist with the renovations.  The Park is used by families and children throughout the community, and this funding will enhance the enjoyment for all.

The grant for Morrison’s Cove was included in the Veterans Affairs-Housing and Urban Development portion of the Omnibus spending bill, a massive bill which includes a variety of appropriations.
