“This funding will make the park more convenient for the residents in Franklin County,” said Congressman Shuster.  “Our parks are one of our most valuable resources and this grant will help make the park more enjoyable for all.”

Nellie and T.K. Nitterhouse Park in Franklin County will receive a grant for $25,000 to help with these improvements.  The Park is used by families and children throughout the community and this funding will benefit them all.

The funding for Nellie and T.K. Nitterhouse Park was included in the Veterans Affairs-Housing and Urban Development portion of the Omnibus spending bill, a massive bill which includes a variety of appropriations.
