I am disappointed that 162 Democrats in the House chose to put politics ahead of our national security by opposing this legislation. They are wrong to support giving special treatment to radicals that sought to kill Americans.”

The United States intelligence community believes al-Qaeda and its allies would have succeeded in attacking us again if not for this program. The information obtained from terrorists in our custody has helped in the capture or questioning of nearly every senior al-Qaeda member or associate detained by the United States and our allies since this program began.”
