“I am very saddened to learn of the passing of Mayor John Redding.  Franklin County has lost a great community leader and a dedicated advocate.  John served his neighbors well over his 40 years of constant service and his love for his town and his commitment to its welfare will be missed. 

I am proud to have known John personally and to have called him a friend.  He was a tremendous public servant who worked with my family for over 30 years to make Franklin County a better place.  My thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends today.”
