| Washington, DC – Congressman Bill Shuster released the following statement after Thursday night’s meeting where it was announced that the Spring Run Post Office would remain open:
"I am pleased that the Postal Service made the right decision to continue postal operations for the people of Spring Run. My conversations with the Postal Service to keep this facility open were productive, but they would not have had the same impact if not for the amazing grassroots effort that grew out of the community to save their post office.
Everyone involved should be congratulated for their hard work and commitment to a common goal. They kept a piece of Franklin County alive."
