WIUP-TV HOSTS SHUSTER TO DISCUSS INDIANA COUNTY

Washington, DC – Congressman Bill Shuster was at Indiana University of Pennsylvania’s (IUP) WIUP-TV 20 studio this week taping a show to air throughout Indiana County.  The show, IUP Talks, will be shown all next week starting at 8:30 p.m.  The host of IUP Talks, Mary Beth Leidman, discussed with Congressman Shuster issues important to Indiana County and concerns for the next Congress.

“It was a real pleasure to host and have the opportunity to chat with our Congressman, Bill Shuster,” said Mary Beth Leidman of Indiana County.  “His compassion, understanding and commitment to his constituents obviously makes him a rising congressional star.”

In the basement of Davis Hall at IUP, Congressman Shuster was a guest on IUP Talks.  IUP Talks is an unscripted talk show where people around the county are invited to discuss issues important to Indiana County.

“I look forward to going to college campuses throughout central and western Pennsylvania to talk to students and hear their concerns,” said Congressman Shuster.  “The interview was very engaging and I applaud the students who completely run WIUP’s state-of-the-art studio.  It is a great experience for them and I was happy to be a part of it.”
