IRVING, TX – U.S. Congressman Kenny Marchant (TX -24) will be hosting a recognition ceremony for Purple Heart recipients and their family members Sunday, November 8th at the Lancaster Theater in Grapevine.

The event is open to any Purple Heart recipient and his or her family from Texas’s 24th U.S. Congressional District.  If you are a recipient and want to attend the ceremony, please call the district office at (972) 556-0162.    

The ceremony will include a personal recognition from Congressman Marchant to each Purple Heart recipient, a special Color guard flag presentation, and refreshments.

All Purple Heart recipients from Texas’ 24 Congressional District are invited to attend the ceremony.  If there are questions about being a resident of Congressman Marchant’s district please call the district office at (972) 556-0162.
