Amount requested: $4,000,000
Funding will support planning, design, and construction for non-federal interests that have environmental infrastructure needs in Benton, Jasper, Lake, Newton, and Porter Counties, IN. These needs include development of wastewater treatment facilities, and water supply treatment and distribution facilities. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is authorized to execute environmental infrastructure activities and this project is authorized pursuant to section 219 of Public Law 102-580, as amended; and section 145 of Public Law 108-137.
