Amount Requested: $2,175,000
The funding will be used by the Town of Griffith for the construction of a pump station along River Road and the storm sewers and inlets necessary to convey stormwater to the pump station. This project will provide relief to an area of the town that experiences significant flooding problems even during relatively small rain events. Investment in wastewater infrastructure provides significant environmental, public health, and economic benefits to the local communities and the nation.
