Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of New Jersey - Statewide Heath and Education Evaluation Project
 
Amount Requested: $600,000

CASA of NJ supports a statewide network of local community-based CASA programs that advocate for the best interests of children removed from their homes because of abuse and/or neglect. Funding would be used to evaluate the effectiveness of CASAs in their advocacy for their child’s educational and health needs. The information collected and analyzed in this project not only satisfies a portion of what is being collected by the Federal Child and Family Service Review (CFSR), it will also enhance the ability of New Jersey’s child welfare system to more successfully address the needs of our children.
