City of Orange Township - Water Treatment Facility Project
 
Amount Requested: $650,000
The City of Orange Township’s water system is currently not in compliance with the Safe Drinking Water Standards. The construction of a new pumping station will replace the 76 year old Chestnut Street Filter Plant, the rehabilitation of 3 mountain wells and the drilling of a replacement well will enable the City to continue to provide safe drinking water to their residents.
 
 These long awaited improvements would provide safer, more stable delivery and treatment of potable water.  The improvements would bring the Orange water system into compliance with current safe drinking water standards and adequately meet future demands.
