I believe in the wise stewardship of our natural resources, and I am a staunch supporter of efforts to increase environmental protection. I want to safeguard our clean air and water standards, our roadless area protections, and push for a sustainable national energy policy that includes conservation and renewable energy provisions. I will continue working with my colleagues in Congress to resist attempts to undercut critical environmental laws.
