Tips for Introducing the Congressman

Thank you for inviting Congressman Towns to speak at your event! Below are some suggestions to make your introduction easier:

1. Long introductions are not necessary. A great personal story can be the best intro.

2.  Why did you invite the Congressman to speak? Does he have a long-standing reputation for the supporting the mission of your organization? Is he an expert or leader in your field of study? Share that information with the crowd as an introduction to connect his presence with the event’s purpose.
